Chatuchak, Bangkok’s enormous weekend market where everything from hand-crafted jewelry to antiques and rare books to exotic animals, tsotchkes, and outfits for every sartorial sense can be had for a price —even this photo should have cost me 100 baht, according to the man with the mohawk, who demanded payment when I asked to take his picture.
While in NY, we were thinking of renting a car and going upstate along the Hudson river… we’re hoping [your boyfriend] can drive us. I got this idea after watching a video travelogue on Discovery Channel. However, if you have anything more interesting…please let us know. Please, no museums or cultural events.

Vung Vieng Fishing Village
Halong Bay, Hanoi

Today I have a long lunch, in Madrid. This means that I know when the lunch will start but not when it will finish…This city is like this, very funny, as you know. After lunch we have to arrange Spain, settle the players for Real Madrid soccer, gossip about the celebrities, talk about beauties and finally discuss the sex of the Angels. These are things that must be done after lunch, otherwise you are not a real Spaniard.
